Le Rondini Farm Holidays

In the green valley of the Valtiberina, at the edge of the Casentinesi forest, you'll find the "Le Rondini" agritourist farm. Located in an old, recently refurbished colonial farmhouse where the traditional Tuscan style has been maintained, relaxation and tranquillity are on offer for the guests. You'll be amazed at the peace and quiet in this house!
The holiday farm is composed of three attractive and comfortable apartments, named Serena, Valentina andStefania, (see photo) as well as the small and suggestive Osteria. In this latter, you can enjoy typical Tuscan dishes: mushrooms, truffles and Chianina beef from the cattle on our working farm, in addition to many other delicious dishes. The agritourist farm is part of a larger working farm where fields are cultivated and cattle, hogs, rabbits and other barnyard animals (e.g. hens and chickens) are raised. At the farm, for those who desire, it is possible to participate in farm activities such as caring for the vegetable or flower garden.
On the weekends, cultural courses are organized with themed evenings: for example how to make egg pasta by hand and Tuscan sweets, including practical demonstrations, as well as courses on the raising of Chianina beef.
For horse-lovers, excursions on horseback are organized with departure directly from the farm for destinations such as the nearby Franciscan sanctuary of la Verna (famous worldwide for its beauty and spiritual importance) or the lovely paths of the Casentinesi forest Park.
Instead for lovers of beautiful cities, it is possible to easily reach attractive centres such as Arezzo, Siena and Perugia or other nearby towns such as Anghiari, Caprese Michelangelo, and Sansepolcro. The so-called Romagnola Riviera is also not far from the farm.
