Masseria della Nocciola is a farm holiday built towards the end of 1800, and is comprised of two buildings, a manor home and a colonial cottage, both surrounded by land which is used for farming.
Today after carefully restoring its antique splendors, the farm has become a temple of beauty and relaxation. The manor home has been turned into an elegant villa, ideal for weddings and other special occasions.
The colonial cottage, is today divided into six mini suites, each with private entrance. The building that once was used for keeping farming tools, has been transformed into a four people’s apartment, which offers top notch comforts.
Manor home
his was the main home where the family would gather around and where most of the family life was spent. This villa has a large living room with fireplace, a large kitchen and several bedrooms.
The Rizzo family has been living in this home for generations and the villa gets the name from them.
The villa has three floors: On the first floor has a grand living room with parquet floors, tall and broad vaults and arches and a beautiful stone fireplace, which makes the environment all so much more beautiful. Also on the first floor is a large and well equipped kitchen. From the stairs to the second floor you can see the beautiful rural surrounding. On the second floor is a recreation room ideal for small parties or executive meetings. On the same floor there are also three bedrooms equipped with all the technology and comforts you can ask for. In the back of the villa, divided in two floors, are three apartments with private entrance. On the lower lever of the apartments is the living room with fireplace, kitchen and dining room, and on the second level two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each apartment is suitable for four people + two. All apartments have A/C, centralized heat, satellite TV and balconies overlooking the countryside.
The interiors of the apartments are in wood, furnished with antique furniture to preserve the colonial home’s atmosphere.

The Colonial cottage
At the lower level there used to be the horses and farm utensils and on the top level were the farmers’ dwellings.
Today, respecting the original architecture, the building has been turned into 6 fully accessorized suites. All the rooms offer A/C, centralized heat and satellite TV. All the lower level suites have a balcony opening onto the grass, while the upper level room’s balcony offer a spectacular view of the beautiful and relaxing panorama.
Farmer workshop
This used to be the place were the farmer’s tools were kept after a day’s work. Today this place is a four person apartment, which offers all comforts and a private entrance. The apartment is characterized by a big external pergola typical of antique homes.
