In the eighteen–century farm-house eight rooms and one small apartment have been entirely renovated with modern comforts and refurbished with original forniture and antiques. You will relax in absolut quiet that invites you to long walks in the surrouding nature. For gourmets, wine tasting and local delicacy!
The history of the Nada estate began way back in 1919, when grandfather Carlo purchased the property in the Rombone area of the village of Barbaresco. His son Giovanni continued in his father's footsteps as a vine-grower, and then passed on his passion to his own son, Gian Carlo, a winemaker, and to his wife Ada. The current owner is from the fourth generation of the family: Anna Lisa, who now runs the estate together with her sister Sara and her husband Elvio. The 25-odd acres of vineyards produce a classic Dolcetto d'Alba that is very fine and delicate; a robust Barbera d'Alba, part of which is matured in small oak barrels; a spritzy and fragrant Moscato d'Asti "naturale"; and the estate's pride and joy, Barbaresco, a big wine with an engaging complex, ethereal bouquet. These great classic wines have been joined by a wooded red, made from a cuvée of Barbera and Nebbiolo grapes and called "La Bisbetica", which Gian Carlo chose to dedicate to his daughter Anna Lisa. Opening period: all year long Accomodation: 8 double rooms, 1 small apartment, all rooms with shower/wc. Restaurant: for groups only, upon reservation.
