An 18th century ancient villa with a “baglio”(internal courtyard) and surrounding court, centuries-old olive trees from which is obtained a reknown olive oil, an elegant swimming pool- garden area, a simple and delicious cooking (by the local farmer), 4 suggestive and comfortable suite-flat, to host up to 16 people: Casa delle Rose, Casa del Prete, Casa della Mannira, Casa dei Tutù. Surrounded by a great 18th century “masseria”, in the middle of century old olive trees that produce a famous olive oil, you may rent typical sicilian flats, each one provided by private restrooms and kitchen, swimming pool, tennis court, reading room, to relax. For the interested ones, easily reachable, the most beautiful and famous towns and sites of Sicily. Villa Zottopera built in the late 18th c., situated in Chiaramonte Gulfi. Since last year a large part of the mansion has been turned into "agriturismo", a kind of elite summer resort and we are interested in hosting groups of people, loving traditions , countryside and all beautiful and genuine things, wanting to learn eventually about our olive oil and Sicilian cooking through the courses that we offer (olive oil tasting and traditional cooking- home made pasta and bread etc....)
 
 
The ancient structure includes the old oil and wine mills. The 4 comfortable and elegant suites, hosting from 2 to 5 people, with original furniture and structural characteristics, have one or two bedrooms, a kitchen, shower- bath , climatization, TV, a terrace looking to the garden, obtained from the ancient court on the “baglio”. It is possible to taste a simple and genuine meal (lunch or dinner) cooked by the farmer in our restaurant- hall,. on request. Our farming products from vegetables to fruit are can be used by our guests. They can also ride our horses. On the farm is also produced the oil “Villa Zottopera”, a reknowned and awarded biological POD olive Oil. We organise for ou guests short oil-tasting courses, and also courses on the preparation of tipical products of sicilian cooking. The Villa and surroundings , with the buildings adjoining to the Villa and the sicilian court (baglio), the little church, the garden and its portches, the swimming pool, allow to live unforgettable moments of suggestive and poetic atmosphere, as well as simple and friendly, thanks to the little number of guests and to our discrete company and carefull service.
