Your holiday by the highland of Carso - A nice stay in the comfortable apartments in the quiet setting of the Rural Park “Alture di Polazzo” (High Grounds) on the highland of Carso (114 m over the sea level), in a border land between Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy) and Slovenia (just 12 km), which is an area by the particular historic backgroung of the First World War, at few kilometers from the beaches of the Adriatic Sea (15 km).
For the lovers of open air green places the agricaltural camping of the Rural Park is for sure the right place for tent holidays, roulotte or camper.
There are many places which have to be visited in the neighbourhood, such as the High Adriatic costs (Sistiana Bay 12 km, Grado Island 25 km), the Friuli Venezia Giulia castles (Miramare Castle, Duino Castle, Gorizia Castle, etc.), the characteristic karstic caves (the Giant cave – the biggest turistic cave in the world – San Canziano caves – Unesco heritage – and the Postumia caves in Slovenia, etc.) and the beautiful and historic cities of the Region (Triest, Udine, Aquileia, Cividale del Friuli, Palmanova, ecc.).
The apartments of the Rural Park "Alture di Polazzo" have been realised by  restructuring a rural building, with a medium surface of 35 sqm, suitable for couples and families. The apartments have a double room, bath with shower, a living room with a double bed couch, a little cooking space completely equipped (stove, refrigerator, pottery, etc.), sat TV, terrace or veranda and car parking.

But there are many other reasons to spend a short holiday near the Rural Park, as the possibility to get in touch with the rural animals along the "Caress street", the recreation park and the rest area, the area relax with swimming pool (deck chairs, gazebo, five a side football and table tennis), the field for archery playing, the gymnastic route, the horse excursions thanks to the riding school in the neighborhood.
