Description
The Agritourism Masseria Cardillo is situated on three hillocks facing the green and quiet plain of Metaponto and is the ideal place for those people who wish to spend a quite relaxing holiday in the middle of nature.
Not far from the sites of archaeological interest of Magna Grecia and from the Ionian beaches. We grow mainly vines, olives, citrus trees and all kinds of fruit. We have ten double and/or triple rooms which are comfortable and pleasant, furnished in the style of old homes of Lucania. They are all equipped with private bathrooms, heating, conditioned air and all sort of modern comforts and facilities. The limited number of the rooms and the wide spaces grant high level service and absolute quiet. The farm house Masseria Cardillo rises only five Km. From the Ionian beaches and offers its guest tennis court, horses, swimming pool. A golf course is only five minutes away from the farm, where golf lovers can play 18 holes.. Metaponto beach is 5 km from Masseria Cardillo. The produce It is possible to buy extravergine olive oil produced from the olive groves of the farm, according to the ancient tradition, as well as other natural products such as honey, marmalade and fruit.

| How to reach it We are in the district of Bernalda, a small town near Matera, in the heart of Magna Grecia, an area rich of centres of great historical interest, at km. 96 on S.S. 407 Basentana. Coming from the North there are two possibilities: - through highway A14 until Taranto Nord, then S.S. 106 Jonica until crossing with S.S. 407 Basentana. - through highway A3 until Sicignano; then State Rood from Sicignano to Potenza and S.S. 407 Basentana. Coming from Puglia or Calabria through S.S. 106 Jonica until crossing with S.S. 407 Basentana. |
